I know you aren't asking me, but as a guy who is building a $3k Glock, I can speak from a place of experience when I say that people want what they want. Reason aside. Though, I could see some use in the product as a two shot burst with a little trigger control training.

Anyone see the Desert Tech MDR? I was in the group buy on the bullpup forum just as I did with the Tavor I got, but with my recent Sig purchases I am bailing on the buy. But was curious what info they were giving and what peoples impressions were. I want the .308 version... and they are offering a Mil/LEO/First Responder discount for when I get one later.

And the trigger would be cool for a few mags, and then expensive after that. now... if someone could do a 3 shot burst version without having to remember to remove you finger before you burned off the whole mag, I'd be interested.

I didn't go to Shot obviously, but from the photos I've seen this is the coolest build there imo

The 2A Armament Xanthos (lightweight DPMS pattern 7.62) is the most interesting news for me out of SHOT. Pricey, but weight is what's been holding me back from the AR10 platform.

Well, First Lite has announced some new items to their hunting clothing line, too, which I'm also excited about.

Nobody mentioned the prototype AK. I think the AK-alm or something like that.

Probably the thing that interests me the most. Supposedly coming out this year with an MSRP around $1200
