Got my new Nikon D5200 out today and snapped a photo of this glock in between shooting accessories. This is where its at right now. All acquired parts are installed except the RMR. I'm going to send the slide out for milling once I get my current living situation sorted out. Same goes for frame mods.

Interested to hear your take on the night sights with the RMR.....

We'll have to wait and see once I get it all assembled. I got the black rings, so visually they don't pop much in daylight. I've mocked it up a little, placing the RMR on the slide with the sights installed in low light and the sight picture doesn't seem too busy for me. We'll see though.

BC,
Not to sound stupid, but how in the heck do you carry something like that, especially when you mount the optics? Custom holster? I'm kind of lost here..

Stupid Expensive Glock 19 Build
FT, I may well need a custom holster for it if my modifications change the profile enough. And that's fine by me if it comes to it. But the RMR shouldn't interfere too much with most holsters, and if it does, it's not too terribly tough to make a cutout for it.
Edit: I'm also not necessarily building this with any intent to carry it. Though, I will likely experiment with carry configurations.

Stupid Expensive Glock 19 Build
There are plenty of holsters these days that handle the RMR quite well. I've been using the Eidolon myself and carry AIWB.

Partially because of this thread, decided to throw down on my own Glock 19.

Man, this thread makes me want to take a trip to the Glock Store. They are down the street from my job.

Reminds me to do some upgrades to my G19. I just don't see dropping that kind of money on a Glock when I could spend it on a 1911 or some nice S&W wheel guns. Still, they look sick.

Looks like its going to be real nice!
I will say, ive been enjoying my Glockraft D.A.T. V2 and Wilson barrel in my G17; the trigger may become a standard upgrade like the sights.Matthew 10:28

I was about to pull the trigger on a LWD Timberwolf Compact (19) frame right before SHOT. I built on two of the fullsizes and liked them, and Salient had done some nice stippling work with them, they take it well. Really was up in the air on the slide, wanted something 17 length (19L) and really wild.
Then I saw the Agency NOC.
Now I'm scared I may fall into a stupid expensive [not a]Glock purchase
