Yeah, I figure parkerizing is good enough to keep it from rusting until I decide if I want to do something else with it.

    Stupid Expensive Glock 19 Build

Curious why you'd go ghetto with Lone Wolf on a 3K Glock? Like putting Gabriel shocks on a Ferrari.

If its stupid and it works, it ain't stupid! Its a machined SS rod with a screw and a captured spring. The spirit of this build is in many ways, one of experimentation. I plan to experiment with other spring weights anyway, and I haven't found any reason to replace this rod with something else.

    Stupid Expensive Glock 19 Build

30ft full magazine group with one flier.
Yeeeeeessss. Totally worth the time money and effort.

Edit: the gun definitely shoots better and smoother than I do.

Well, I got dealer pricing on slide work so I think I've probably spent between $2300-$2400 out of pocket including the RMR.

I'm glad I didn't have to pay for the frame work, but all in all this build has been a formative learning experience.

    Damn.......

Thanks , it does look like a fun shooter and looks like a comfy grip with the work / stippling you have done.

If I was working a group like that, I would get nervous and toss a flyer too! Nice shooting.

I haven't changed the setup since I got the slide back, so I've got the RMR (3.25 MOA adjustable LED) and set of Trijicon suppressor sights with black rings.

I'll look into a front post for a .45 Glock (I believe they are a little shorter) to bring my groups up, but for now, with the RMR, they are close enough for backups.

Finally had a chance to take this to the range again with range quality ammo and confirmed that the reduced power striker spring is extremely useful. For practicing clearing malfunctions.
This particular spring gets me 2-3 light strikes per mag, so I'll keep it around for training purposes but the OEM spring is going back in once I get it home.

I'm loving the RDS though. It has been very educational and had actually made me shoot better wth iron sights.

There is no comparison between a standard Glock and the one above. Everyone I hand both to, invariably says that it feels like a totally different gun.
I love the flat trigger. The pull weight isn't massively different, but it helps with trigger control.

Thanks for the info on the trigger, reading up it seems to not really change the weight but shorter travel, reset and the flat part ...
