Lip on the inside of the magwell.

I didn't know you could engrave on the inside of the magwell. I did mine on the bottom of the trigger guard. I thought the engraving had to be on the outside somewhere but I guess not. If I get the dough to start building multiple SBR's then I guess I can worry about it then

Per the NFA Guide, the engraving has to be "visible." I keep saying I'm going to engrave the barrel on my .300BO, but I never get motivated enough to take the rail off and instead just use another, already engraved lower for it.

My first engravings are at the trigger pins because the engraver insisted that I couldn't do magwell. This was from one of the biggest names mentioned for trust engraving.

I found another one with quick turnaround who got official word (if there is such a thing) from the ATF. Magwell lip is fine. That's where the rest of my engravings have been on my billet lowers. I put them at trigger hole on forged lowers.
