targets
What do you guys use for targets and where do you get them? So far all I have are a handful of the FBI Qualification(center of mass), I would like to buy a pile of them but want to make sure I get the most/best for my money. I like the cardboard ones, but paper is fine, too. Steel isn't in my price range, lol.

I use the BT-5S from Law Enforcement Targets, inc
https://www.letargets.com/estylez_item.aspx?item=BT-5S
They are cheep, 14 cents ea., if you order them in lots of 1000 or more. The paper is thinner then most target paper and they are reduced in size. I think it makes them easer to handle and take to the range and they take up less room in the trash when your done.
I also like paper plates.

I like paper plates. They replicate the size of the upper chest area that I want to hit, they are cheap, and I know of no range that won't let you use them.

I just picked up a 4 inch Newbold target. Its done fairly well after a few hundred rounds but .45 chews it up. It would last thousands of .223 but the smaller round doesn't flip the target as well as a larger diameter round. I haven't done the math to find out if its cheaper than buying paper targets for the same price. I like having the action of steel without having to reset and at a smaller price tag than steel.

I use paper plates and colored index cards.
I also use these:
Not cheap but great for Christmas displays, very sturdy, and easy to place.
ETA: To clarify, the green Ivans on the left.

Another paper platist here. For more "precision" work, I usually just place a round colored sticker in the center of the plate to give me something akin to an MOA marker.
Of course, there are any number of downloadable/printable targets these days, and I usually have a few basic variants on hand for bench work.

I'm a little late on this, but besides using paperplates I save my pizza boxes. You can cut them in half or use the whole for more "man size" targets for drills and such.

M24 that is a great set up, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
For fun at work we used milk cartons, paper plates, folded cardboards man/woman size showing profile shots.
