    Fixed my Warcomp's "ping"

    Don't ping no more.

No wonder you were gabbing about one of these the other day.

Any chance you have a -212A and can make comparisons? I'm up in the air about a Warcomp or one of these, as the ping doesn't really bother me.

Yes, I have a 212a. It honestly looks like one that's got a longer "skirt" and has been ported.

I'd be interested to hear the shooting muzzle flip comparisons, especially if it's a like-gassed gun.

It won't be. The weapon it's going on is going to be properly gassed. My DDM4 has a 0.074-ish" gas port, 16.1" middy. Way overgassed.

I like it. I have several of the FA212 versions and they've worked well for me.

I just meant carbine vs carbine or middy vs middy, but either way, interested to hear how it shoots.

So is the only change the ring at the front? Did they move the ports at all?

Yes, the ports are now non-biased and symmetrically placed. 3 on each side of centerline.
