For edc I usually alternate between one of the two esee laserstrikes iwb at 3:00 or the Benchmade Adamas rear right front pocket.

The Junglas rides in my backpack during the summer for work since I spend more time on foot in swamps and marsh.

Buck 505. Had it for 15 or 20 years I guess.

Every now and they I'll drag it though the WorkSharp.

Esee 5 with the pouch kit replaces the Junglas in my backpack outside of summer time for work. It's also my most used fire prep knife which is the reason for it's evolution from coated to stripped and patina'd.

Needless to say I'm a little bit of a knife nerd and I don't take it easy on'em!

I love those little Buck 505's! My dad has carried one of them daily for over 30 years.

Brother I've more than amazed myself with this 5! I put some time in thinning the edge bevel a good bit, then convexed it stropping with sandpaper on a mousepad going from 80, 120, 320, 400 then 800 grit then went on a ceramic crock stick set at 20* then 25* to put a micro bevel back on the edge. It's been a really fun blade to play with.

I sold all my Esee's except the two Laserstrikes, this 5 and a Junglas.

I totally missed you getting the second Hinderer on the other forum!!!!

A very close friend filed those scales by hand then gifted me that Laserstrike. He goes by Emac on the Esee forum, he'll do scale mods and make scales from wood blanks also.

Joel I wish the few I've filed came out that good!

The more I hear, or read about emac, the more I think you two are the same person. I didn't think I knew two people that would fish a tree trunk out of the bayou, but that was his story, not yours! That's a great friend to have!

Hahahaha! Yeah I would've left that tree trunk right where it was, he's trying to get my big ass to go lift that damn behemoth. He's still got that new to living in south Louisiana excitement going. We were roommates for a few years when I was in college in Arkansas, spend a lot of time hunting, shooting and burning shit down.
