My duty knife is a 11 year old Benchmade Elishewitz folder. My off duty EDC is a Strider SnG tanto.

On duty or off, I carry a benchmade 2500 and a schrade old timer 980t 3 blade stockman. This seems to cover most of my daily blade needs. Both are great knives, both are out of production.

At work, I've got a S&W Extreme Ops folder in a sheath mounted to a duty belt, a Cold Steel neck knife between the shirt and vest and another Cold Steel Recon Tanto mounted to a drop rig for P-Mags and a Taser. Off-duty I've got whatever pistol and I alternate between a smaller S&W Extreme Ops and a Gerber folder.

    Regards,

Normally have a SOG folder of some sort on me. The Master Tanto is in the go bag. I really like the little Al Mar - extremely lightweight.

Then there are the "other" knives. The AG Russell Sting IIA is a dream in a Kydex. I also like the EK Boot Knife, and Gerbers.

For the past 3 years I have been carrying a Kershaw Tactical Blur, assisted opening, tanto blade, awesome grip. Only problem is that it wears on my jeans, it is like sand paper (not like the rubberized ones i have seen recently)

On Duty: An old, faithful Leatherman Wave.

Off Duty: A SOG Mini X-Ray.

And I make the wife carry a SOG Mini X-Ray too!
Why is common sense so UN-common?

CRKT M16-14D Tanto blade just a hair under 4 inches. Used to buy gerber but the QC went to hevk IMHO. Love the M-16 it's big but it's thin and doesn't get in the way.

I am a big Benchmade fan, I don't know how many I have, but I usually carry my 710HS. I had a 750s but it has been lost for 3+ years and I've moved during that time, so I think it is gone forever. If anyone has a 750 they are trying to sell I might be willing to buy it off of you. I cannot find these anywhere anymore, since they have been discontinued for quite a while now . I occasionally carry a mini-grip if I can't carry my "big" 710. For deer/pig hunting I use my 140HS. This knife turned me on to the HS steel because I could butcher two hogs and a deer without having to stop and resharpen at any point. Other knives I've had to resharpen.

My next benchmade if it is not a 750 (or if I find my missing one) will be either a 520 or 5000 with a black plain blade. I live in TX so I can legally own the 5000, I just cannot carry it

I forgot to mention, I am neither military nor LEO, just an enthusiast, but believe me, I have great respect and admiration for all those that do need these kind of tools to serve this country, foreign and domestically.
