https://www.cmttac.com/index.php?rou...product_id=153
The Cross Machine Tool CRC 556 (Combat Recoil Compensator) is a Hybrid muzzle device.
Two forward angle brake ports on the CRC 556 provide greatly reduced muzzle rise & mitigate felt recoil while the front forks distort and reduce flash signature. The external machined flutes on the front flash forks not only reduce the overall weight of the device but also blend with the aesthetic appearance of our Trademark magwell grooves on CMT UHP15 series Lower receivers. Function of the CRC 556 muzzle device is equaled by the exceptional visible manufacturing quality & apprearence you expect from Cross Machine Tool products. MADE IN USA

Sure looks like every brake I've ever seen. What makes it a comp?

Technically the 6 ports on top. Like 99% of the devices this is what I would consider a hybrid. Part brake, part compensator.

Only so many ways to design a 2/3 port brake. Like SINNER said, the ports on the top make it a comp.

The flash comp looks familiar, although there's probably only so much you do. I know, call it a flash brake!
6 holes on top of that brake seems like it would compensate like that girl everybody knew in high school.
