    Cross Machine Tool Combat Recoil Compensator

    These will be available in Nitride, Stainless Steel, and eventually Grade 5 Titanium

    The Cross Machine Tool CRC 556 (Combat Recoil Compensator) is a Hybrid muzzle device.

    Two forward angle brake ports on the CRC 556 provide greatly reduced muzzle rise & mitigate felt recoil while the front forks distort and reduce flash signature. The external machined flutes on the front flash forks not only reduce the overall weight of the device but also blend with the aesthetic appearance of our Trademark magwell grooves on CMT UHP15 series Lower receivers. Function of the CRC 556 muzzle device is equaled by the exceptional visible manufacturing quality & apprearence you expect from Cross Machine Tool products. MADE IN USA

    1/2 28 RH ID threads
    .632" max diameter
    Surface Hardness-68RC Substrate Hardness-30 RC (QPQ SS only)
    Weight- 2.7oz. SS model 1.5oz. Grade 5 Titanium model
    Caliber- 5.56mm / .223 Remington only
    Rating- Full Auto
    Zero porting on bottom side to reduce ground signature when fired from the prone position
    Zero porting on the center top side to reduce flash sight obstruction through optics/sights
    2 forward angled progressive side exhaust chambers
    Outer tang styling cuts to match Trademark magwell grooves on UHP15 series lower receivers
    Pre-drilled for pinning to 14.5" barrel to legal length (pin included)
    Crush washer included (not for suppressor use)

    Technically the 6 ports on top. Like 99% of the devices this is what I would consider a hybrid. Part brake, part compensator.

    Only so many ways to design a 2/3 port brake. Like SINNER said, the ports on the top make it a comp.

    Yeah, I was thinking the same.

    They're also working on a flash comp as well. This is prototype. It will likely go through several more revisions:

    What's the flash Comp look like?

    Though this is $63 bux at the moment so not a bad price

    The flash comp looks familiar, although there's probably only so much you do. I know, call it a flash brake!

    6 holes on top of that brake seems like it would compensate like that girl everybody knew in high school.
