Faxon barrel and heat ?

That's a great looking rifle. I only have one Faxon barrel (16" pencil) and it took longer than usual to settle in. I was shooting 9-10" groups at 100 yards. I thought might be my optic so I moved over to 50, used iron sights and shot 6" groups. I ran about 150 more rounds through it and called it a day. Cleaned it, remounted my optic. A few days later I was shooting 3-4 inches at 100 yards. I'd still like a little more accuracy but it is a pencil barrel and 3-4 inches is a lot better than 9-10".
