I am definitely confident that I made the right move to extract myself from that. Where to go to next is yet to be determined. It might give me the chance to make some other overdue changes that I've been wanting to make for a while, but we will see.

Life's too short to work for bad bosses. Working in a snake pit where you're the only non-snake really bites. Sounds like pulling the eject handle was your only course of action. Good move, best hopes for a better job elsewhere.

Yep. I put in my notice and did my final two weeks so this past Friday was my last day. I am confident that I did the right thing. Apparently I am not the first person that had this same problem. I have been told by numerous folks I about the 5th one. The combination between snake pit and dead end job makes me even more confident in my choice.

Next step is onward and upward to bigger and better things. Hopefully I can be like Chuck Norris and kick some ass and still land on my feet.
