I quit drinking for six months once in support of a friend who was trying to dry out. Worst six months of my life...

Bulliet Bourbon is pretty tasty. I usually take a bottle of their Frontier Whiskey with me when i go camping. Goes great with a cigar sitting next to the camp fire.

The Small Batch is good enough and someday I'll grab one of the newer NAS as a pour in a bar to see if the profile changed. Hope not, as it was dependable and abundant.

The best dumps of the Barrel Proof was another beast entirely, in my mind. The first one I found was # 6 (HazMat) and it was pretty amazing. Some of the other dumps weren't was rich, but everything has been at least very good. And I agree that ECBP doesn't have the pedigree of something like George T Stagg, but it also cost $55-$65 (at least at first) and was available on shelves.

Well, don't smoke, so wouldn't care for the stogie, but I'd be glad to drink your Woodfords. Stainless steel ice cubes, now that's new (to me). Are they liquid filled and put in the freezer or? Great idea to keep your good hooch from getting watered down.

No FT, solid stainless cubes. They get really cold in the freezer. Brenda gave them to me - Christmas "stocking stuffer".

I've got something similar. They're called Whisky Stones. Same concept, except they're made from soapstone instead of stainless steel.
