I think that I am going to go with the Mega. I have a Mega upper and lower so I might as well just round it out. I already asked GOST and he said my gas block will fit under the rail so I should be GTG.
Or not. Can't decide!

Just depends how close you want the end of your rail to be to the shoulder of the barrel. A 9" Wedgelock will leave a noticeable gap. I just posted a 9" Wedgelock on a 10.5" Mega Barrel on the Mega thread. I'll see if I can dig up the pic again.

Uwone... do you know if CMT and SLR are partnering up or not? I don't know for sure but I thought I heard that somewhere.
(If so that's a match made in heaven...two awesome companies!)

Geissele MK4/8 is tight on a 10.3. I have one with an AAC BRAKE/M4-2000 and there almost zero gap between rail and suppressor.

I did end up purchasing the Mega rail. Hopefully everything works out as planned.

Rail for 10.3" barrel
I love my Geissele MK8 9.5. I can direct thread my can to a 10.25" barrel. It would look great on your mega set. Classic setup.
Keep in mind the MK18 is a 10.3 barrel with the DD 9.55" rail.
The mega rail is hardcore but doesn't go to the shoulder which is the popular thing these days if you want as much real estate as possible with a short barrel. Since you just purchased the mega, you can run it and decide later if you want more rail. You can always sell it.Last edited by fledge; 31 January 2017 at 07:47.

I got my Mega rail today and it is a work of art. Excellent machining and the anodizing is some of the best I have seen. I should have my upper and lower on Monday. I will do a mock up then.
