Law Tactical uses a SOLID extension adapter that fits into the rear of the bolt carrier. However, it "appears" to my eye that the guide rod is thin enough that one could drill out the center of the Law Tactical extension adapter so the rod is able pass through it and into the rear of the bolt carrier. It would cost $29 to buy a spare LT extension adapter to try it. Hope this helps.
