I don't know how much of a 'deal' it is, but I found some CCI 40gr subsonic 22LR for $8.99 per box of 100. Shipping was $11.95 and there was no tax.

The normal price on these is $13.99 per box of 100.

I bought 1,500 rounds of it to test out. I have several thousand rounds of .22LR ammo of various flavors already, but I am down to not that much subsonic so I figure why not try these out. Reviews say they will cycle a semi auto. The total to the door cost was 9.7 cents per round which was cheaper than most of the alternatives, especially once you start figuring out tax and shipping.

The Trij rebate on the RMMcc has been extended. That makes them available for under $350. Any thoughts about viability of the cc model as backup offset on a carbine?

Not sure there's a plate to accommodate the narrower size.

    This.

And, the window is tiny. I know offset RMR's on a rifle aren't the most ideal setup, but you may want to look through an RMRcc before you buy.

    Arisaka Plates 21/22

Seems to me like picking up a 1 MOA dot floating in space isn't going to be that much harder just because the housing is .015" narrower. Just an idea and I've blown my budget for a while anyway, but the rebate makes it a good time to pick up the RMRcc if you have a use for one.

I picked up some of the 69, I like my 55 BK reloads a bit better using Molon's recipe.
