Former11- seems like the re15 is a popular choice, I only have tried some under varget and TAC , my 69gr smk’s shoot lights out under varget but not as good in the 77’s as I’ve gotten with tac so far

    My 77gr nosler load - 23.5 -TAC - LC case- 2.245 - and CCI 450 mag primer

Did try a 100ct box of federals small rifle match but actually groups opened up, so stayed with the 450 which I use for all small rifle loads
Over this past weekend I shot three 5-shot groups with 77 gr CC, LC 11 brass, and 24 grains of varget with each of CCI 400, CCI #41, and Rem 7 1/2 primers. The Rem 7 1/2 was the tightest group. Looks like #41s gave the highest velocity but with a lot of variation. Unfortunately I only got chrono readings off of 1 of the shots from the 7 1/2 set, but I think I'll focus on those for a bit.

    Nice..

I tried about all of the primers and out of about everything cci 450’s gave me the best results with low deviation.

I'm about to do a very similar recipe. However, I've not yet sorted my LC brass by year, it's just from the "LC bin."

Most of mine isn’t sorted; I’ve just got about a thousand or so pieces of new once fired I acquired recently and it was all together

.50 B&M Alaskan. The flat point and cup point bullets are made by North Fork bullets, and both 450gr solid copper projectiles. They’re loaded with either 63gr of IMR 4198 or 62gr of Reloder10x and traveling about 2000fps

The Tipped bullet is a 300gr Hornady FTX .50 cal with 69gr of IMR 4198 at about 2400fps

Former, love the pics. How do you get everything so shiny? Do you dry tumble after they are loaded up?
