That is correct. You get emailed your approved F1 with a "stamp" watermarked in a pdf document.

Well one thing is certain, they have streamlined the credit card charges. 3 forms mailed on Friday, received on Monday and card charged on Wednesday. The first time I used the CC payment I sent in two forms and 2 charges were made to the card. This time they did a single transaction for the total amount.

That's funny as I tried to use my CC for a Form4 and it was returned to the dealer saying it was not valid. The same exact card I used on all three eForm form1's and it worked everytime. I checked with the bank and they did not deny the charge and it was written down correctly on my form. Only thing I can think of i someone did not put in the correct numbers into the machine and never bothered to check or try again. On a happy note, having to resubmit it after the error may have helped me get it approved sooner as it was done in 4 months.

Off to pick up my 458Socom can today!!

The Lane 458Scorpion was submitted on 9/28/15, approved 3/11/16 but not received until today 5/12/16
The SilCo Omega was submitted 10/13, Approved 3/16/16 and received 3/28/16 (guess it was 5 months)

    Thompson Machine Poseidon .45:
    Form 4 trust filed 1/4/16
    Approved 5/11/16

Now if the dealer I went through stays on the ball....they had it almost 2 months before I found out the Form 3 had cleared to them by calling. "Oh, we didn't call you? Gee...I coulda swore we did..."

    Griffon Checkmate QD:
    Form 4 Trust filed 3/3/16
Form 3 transferred from Silencer Shop to LGS 3/31/16
    Still pending.

Dealing with Silencer Shop is lightyears beyond good stuff. I should have gotten the TM Poseidon through them too...

My gunsmith went in for knee surgery the day after! I'm waiting for him to recover so I can get the barrel cut and choked. But, I'll tell you this, I'm going for an old worn look. Starting with a 1970's wingmaster with a 12.5" lop cut down wood stock. The barrel will be cut at 12.5" as well. The bluing on the receiver is badly worn.

I may or may not reblue or cerakote it and Magpul it out. But, in all likelihood, I'm gonna leave it as is, worn and pretty.
