yeah, they posted some photos on their IG and facepalm. The stock for their RE is a little different from the one for mil-spec tubes.

These will probably be popular with the light weight guys, but I wonder if it's much lighter than a MFT Minimalist Stock? Is giving up a cheek weld, adjustability and a rubber pad worth saving maybe 3oz?

That looks uncomfortable as heck and it might make the balance seem off, but I guess it will sell for those that think they need absolute minimal weight. During real use, weight savings is most noticeable toward the front of the gun.

I think that weight, or lack of it, at that end of the rifle is irrelevant to those who aren't carrying the thing all day. I'm sure there's a use and a market for this thing....I just can't quite figure what it is.
