Tactical Night Vision Company is one of the oldest and most trusted names in the night vision business, given that this company works closely with many manufacturers, and actively hires military and law enforcement veterans with years of professional experience with Night Observation Devices (NODs).

Recently, Tactical Night Vision Company unveiled their own line of PVS-14s night vision monoculars, and the aggressive pricing and features of these professional assembled and warrantied premium devices rival that of bargain bin, "Grade B" or worse blemished tubes, and "home brew" units assembled by amateurs.

These units however, use Grade A tubes assembled by professionals to ensure flawless, maintenance free service, and come with a 5 year warranty from an established company.

Consumers have the option of 3 possible image intensifier configurations.

1. ITT "Pinnacle" Thin Filmed tubes. Thin film technology provides superior light gathering capability, but relegates this unit to 5.56mm weapon mounting only.
2. L3 "MilSpec" tubes. Exact tubes from current OMNI VIII spec contract
3. L3 Commercial. Made with Mil Spec components, but at a 3rd party vendor location.

TNVC PVS-14s are available in 3 colors: Matte FDE, Multicam, and Black. The FDE and Multicam finishes have a marine/automotive grade clear coat applied to ensure long term durability.

In particular, the Black, L3 Commercial spec PVS-14 offers great performance at the $2,515 mark. This level of quality would have easily cost hundreds more not too long ago.

FYI: Did you know that image intensifier tubes simply cannot be made without imperfections? Tubes are ranked by grade, and all of TNVC's tubes promise to be in the "A" category. In the photo above, the blemish of the tube is above the pistol, between the two chairs. You have to look very closely to find it.
