I've been following a thread over at TOS that involves this trigger. The idea behind it is to have a 3-mode SAFE/SSA/SD3G trigger at a price point at $325.

I don't have any inside knowledge, but I wouldn't call that wishful thinking. I'd call it a distinct possibility.
