Exactly, the holes in the CH do nothing to mitigate gas... however they do have a nice channel to blow more gas in your face between the handles!

That's what I thought. Not sure where they're going with that.

I think the Radian Raptor is still the best CH in the market.

However, that's where I first figured out the holes in the handle does nothing to mitigate gas in a suppressed gun. There are only so many places gas can go.

To be honest the gen 1 avalanche I have is probably my least favorite charging handle I've used outside of a milspec.

As a recent inductee in the gasface club, I heartily agree that the only place gas is welcome is in the ole dutch oven!

I had one and gave it a shot, but even shooting without a can the gas was very noticeable compared to a raptor equipped rifle.

Plus the fit was horrible ! loose in the upper...no thanks

Can't blame you, the designed sucked.

People broke a ton of them, definitely not a professional grade charging handle. This one however, is a much better design. Can't wait to see if it lives up to it.

Hood to hear. I'm surprised to see that mustang found his too loose. Mine is super right in every upper. It's hardly been used really but looks like a 10k round charging handle
