Silver Trust from Dennis Brislawn at Northwest Gun Law Group last week (excellent service and all around nice guy). Purchased this at Rainier Arms today.

100% hits at 400 yards shooting a "prone" silhouette (head and shoulders) as well as some steel. 69gr SMK handloads (24.1gr RE15), Rainier 16" Ultramatch barrel, Griffin Recce 5 Mod 3, and ACOG 3.5x35 (TA11J).

They told me it was a Mod 3 but there is no way to tell from the packaging, so it might be.

Got to run my LMT MRP 10.5 with gemtech carrier and saker 762 on my friend's Colt RR M16 a bit more today. Such a soft shooting setup.

The endcap is different. is there any way to get a shot straight down the end? It looks like the tube is slightly different.

I talked to the Griffin guys a while back about the Mod 4 and what the nutshell version is there was some very very minor geometric changes that happened.

Supposedly it's to help the machine work flow a lot easier and stuff like that.

The tube on that one looks like it has a little flair on the end of it. My Mod 3 doesn't have that and I KNOW I have Mod 3.

I would betcha bucks that's a Mod 4. The guts should be almost identical with just some minor adjustment to make the work flow of construction a little easier.
