R. Lee Ermey passes, age 74
"Long associated with Glocks, guns, and everything Marines, Ronald Lee Ermey died Saturday from after complications from pneumonia.
With a life that included more than a decade on active duty in the Marine Corps, over 120 acting credits and becoming a fixture in the firearms community, Ermey’s long time manager, Bill Rogin announced “with deep sadness” that “The Gunny” passed."

RIP Gunny, God speed...The best way to survive a violent encounter is to be the one inflicting the most violence.

Saw this when I got home last night. One of the rare occasions in showbiz that gave me pause.
RIP

Rest in Peace Gunny. I had the privilege of meeting him twice at a couple of IACP trade shows. He was the "draw" at the Glock booth. Personnel in uniform were spoken with for several minutes ... How's the family, what tours, etc. A gentleman, and the only person of celebrity I would stand in line to meet.
