I'm going with the ZEV Frame too. Unlike your 3k build, I'm trying to keep it around 1200.

Well, the optic going on my build is a full 50% of your budget so thats part of why mine will be a bit more expensive. I am considering purchasing a slide with milling already completed so as to allow me to potentially sell the gun in the future with the OEM slide and keep my custom upper. (So I can buy another one and try different frame mods)

Ya never owned a sig..

.....but handled a few and shot a 226 once. Loved the feel and ergos in the hand.

There nice pistols indeed, but for ok ..people like me..living life just making ends meet pretty much mortgage-kids-etc..for me there prices kept me away forever ,but I have looked at them more and more but never have gone thru with it..Lol.....

But back to the pic thread....was going to just do a few little things but It backfired and turned my ocd spinning...So that lead to a DIY refinish project I was about to post up about

Keep an eye on Top Gun Supply's website. They sell a lot of Sigs and will sometimes have some crazy good deals on brand new guns. I've also seen used Sigs for less than the price of a new Gen 3 Glock. Some were police trade-ins with dead tritium sights and some holster wear, but otherwise very nice pistols. Add a short reset trigger, and you're in business. So, i wouldn't give up hope of owning a Sig just yet. You do have to act fast when they come up though, as they generally sell out rather quickly. I'll let you know if i come across any deals.

Your above project looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see the finished product.

No problem. I buy a lot of my handgun parts from Top Gun Supply. They've got a good selection, and usually pretty good prices. And i know what you mean... My want list gets longer by the day, and there's no way my bank account will ever be able to keep up lol.
