Possibly, but those stimulus checks come at a cost. With increased government spending we’ll probably see an increase in inflation, which could lead to investors pulling back.

Personally, I don't think you'll see the dip really dip till 4th quarter 2021, when all the stimulus money dries up and things are opened back up. You're right though, you can't have no inflation along with a few trillion more printed money, and the market going crazy new highs.

You never know what will happen. The market can be irrational for a very long time. It was quite a while from when everyone knew there was irrational exuberance until the market actually corrected because of it. The NASDAQ went from 5,048 down to 1,140 in that route. Trying to predict what the crazy train will do next is difficult, if not impossible.

At the end of the day I heard some good advice once. "You aren't playing the game. You are playing the other players". I am definitely a fundamental investor sometimes to my detriment. By that I mean I look for fundamental reasons that will drive a stock up as the primary reason for investing. Everyone else doesn't play by those rules though. They might look at a chart and say 'it's gone up two days in a row, so it probably will go up on the third as well' without knowing anything about the company and do super short term bets on based on charts and psychology only.

It's scary because you never know when it will unravel.

It's only scary for day traders, or people who can't afford to lose the money.

This is why I'm reluctant to take profits when I double my money. For me at least, it never dips down back below where I sold it for to pick up more.

I'd still get in Aragorn. We're still basically on the ground floor. This stock is still worth 1.25, with the potential to hit 12-17 a share. Don't step over dollars to cry over pennies.

Unless you have 100k shares, I don't think it's worth it to sell and time the dips on a penny stock. HOLD until it's at least $1 for me.
