    10.5” pistol redo

I don’t think this belongs in the “custom” section..lol..Just redoing/rebuilding the 10.5” pistol.but I am moving slowly Along, as Im upgrading things.

Not everything is finalized, so far it’s

-10.5” Rainier match barrel with pinned RA gas block
    - ddc 9.5” mk14
    - tbd..

Old Trigger was a QMS with JP springs..it works....but it needs better

Also kinda always been curious on the LAW folder setups, how are they working for you guys who are running them? Nothing special required with a std buffer tube?

Only pic I got right now

Looks to be a sweet set-up with that mew barrel ‘Stang. If I were a single stage guy the Larue is what I would try. Their 2 stage is 90% as good as a G SSA IMO. The single is $80 and cuts a pound pull off the QMS. I liked the ALG ACT, but not much different than the QMS you have.

I got rid of my LAW folder. It works well, but since gun is disabled when folded I dodn’t find it worth the added bulk and complexity. If you don’t have other folding long guns you may want it just because they are neat. Love my folding Evo and AK.

I have a couple of LAW folders. They work well, for me, and I like being able to drop a 300BO into a backpack.

UFF-I got a LaRue trigger for Xmas, haven’t shot it yet. But it’s very comparable to the geissele G2S I Gabe , which might get flopped around from another lower..not sure yet

On the folders, if they were 200 plus I probably would of grabbed one to try..still a motion but would probably have to be a used one for my poor ass..lol

    Good looking pistols jerry.

I need to upgrade my 10.5” barrel. It’s an FN CHF 1:7 but I always have to change stuff around

RA has a 10.3” Ultramatch I have my eye on...

This is my 10.5” with 9.5” Mk14. KAC lower, etc etc. I like the length without the LAW folder and I prefer the SBA3 to the 4

    Nice setup

Ok, back to the LAW folders, as I’m intrigued and already upgrading.

Did they run out of the box or did you have to drop down a buffer weight?

    Are they really that solid?

I have no foldy bois and have eyeballed these since they came out

I just bought one for my 9mm pistol. They're amazingly solid. You're adding 2 1/8 oz of weight to the BCG by virtue of the little connector plug thingy that goes in the back of the bolt to make up for the added length of the folding housing. Sample size of 1, but I was/am running a Geissele Super 42 braided recoil spring & H2 buffer and have seen no difference in behavior. It's a 9mm pistol with an 8" barrel, shooting 147 grain rounds. Haven't tried using it with a 5.56 upper yet.

Thanks for the feedback. Others have said the same, it’s rock solid. Which at the price point it should.

I haven’t used one, just installed a couple. Get them snug and stake them down and you’ll be all set

Just a little bit of info. Standard milspec buffer tube on top and Midwest Industries pistol tube on bottom.

Rough mock up makes this 10.5” setup roughly 27 inches from end of muzzle threads to end of buffer tube.

I’m all Over the place with this, what started out as just a few things, turned into changing everything...lol

I’ve been wheeling and dealing locally and on tacswap, ar15dotcom. Got a blemish black mk14 locally for a stupid good trade on my end.which I just traded strait across for this ddc.. Blem lower for 65 at a local shop unexpectedly followed me home.. not all parts in hand, but close

after the ddc rail I think I’ve committed to a fde mess.lol..a dude posted up a wtt ad for a fde sba4 setup, so I traded the black m4 brace.. Again better deal on my end and I wasnt quite happy with the length of pull for my arm

Does it need a fde matching upper...my ocd is tingling...

Not bad "as-is" but if you're going FDE with the lower/rail/brace ... gotta be thinking about an FDE upper.
