New Sig P322 (Optics Ready 22LR Pistol)

This looks really attractive! I would have already bought an FN502 but they are never around. Looks like they have a bit of competition now.

Separate article about the pistol below.

This is (as far as I can tell) about $100 to $150 cheaper than the FN502.

I would really like to see a side by side comparison between those two. Particularly I would like to know more about the optics footprint and other small details.

20 round mags are a huge plus. The threaded adapter is a minus in my book. IE have to remove the adapter to take down the gun etc.

It comes with a mag loader. They are also coming out with 25 round mags which is awesome.

The footprint is the Romeo Zero footprint which should work with Holosun optics too.

So far I am seeing a crowd pleaser in this one.

Looks like the 502 has inspired at least Sig to step up their 22 game. Good for us.

    Speaking of the 502.

Pretty impressive. This is actually doing what that 22 Glock said it would do.

18 different ammo types all back to back.

I got a chance to play with the new P322 today. Overall I can say that I really like it. I still would like to compare it to the 502 before I buy, but I still have never seen one in stock anywhere in person.

At this point once I confirm what the optics footprint actually is (if its compatible with Holosun or other 3rd party or whatever) I would be confident in purchasing one. Usually I let the new wear off for a few months before I buy though. I like to let other people be beta testers.

Well, crap, I guess I need to go buy some P322 magazines before the new WA law goes into effect

Question. The specs for the P322 says it takes a RomeoZero optic without any additional adapter plates.

I am not sure what a RomeoZero equals in Holosun speak.

I have a 507K-X2 on my carry pistol but I'm not sure if the same thing will fit the P322 or what other Holosun options I should be shopping for.

What is your carry pistol? The Romeo Zero is the one that fits directly on the 365. And a quick google search says the Romeo Zero has "Shield RMS-c footprint" and "
    J-Point footprint"

I bought one but it's still sitting at the FFL waiting for my local PD to run my background check (it's a WA thing). I should have it within a week and then I'll be running it with a Rugged Oculus.
