New for Christmas
So did anyone get anything new (gun stuff) for Christmas?

I got a Savior Specialist Covert single rifle case in 34". The only things I don't like about the case are that it's really heavy (over six pounds) for what it is and you have to buy other velcro backed pouches if you want any organization in the other compartments. I may exchange it for the 38", but I think I'm going to return it as it doesn't quite fit the niche I thought it would for my purposes.
Not really a Christmas present, but I also picked up a Primary Arms SLX 1x prism with ACSS reticle as I stumbled across a sale and have been curious to try one out.

I got a SF light (that I didn't wait for Xmas for) and IMI 77gr ammo that somehow managed to stay price-competitive even though we probably won't see it again for a long time.
Oh, and CarPlay installed in my car (finally...Rich, you might be interested).

Got some assorted tools and fixtures for 1911 work. Took advantage of the WC sale to get the Gun Guy book and lay in some spare Wilson and CMC mags. Have an order from Brownell's in the air that should complete my quest to start some blending work on a project pistol. What did you get, Jim? Don't lie! You got another "This is the last one, I swear!" AR build going, didn't ya?

Yeah sort of. I built the "Lazy Man's AR" and bought myself a Holoson Laser, a MSM round foregrip, and Streamlight Pro Tec light for it all. Was pretty much a kitchen counter and Lazy Boy lounger project except a couple of minor operatiions. Needed another AR like I needed a hole in the head. Last AR build EVER, except I was thinking........

No gun related stuff. I was thinking about getting a bore scope but the one I wanted was OOS at the time.
No real presents either. What I did get was half of the house remodeled.

I think the model is a Teslong NTG200H.
I want the version with a screen that comes with it. Rather than trying to keep Apps updated or trying to keep software on my laptop, it just works without all of that.
It can fold in half like a tent pole so it's easier to store or travel with. Also it has focusing capabilities simply by twisting the tube. With some of the other ones I've seen you have to try and move the rod around in the barrel in order to get it in focus and have the right distance from the area you are interested in.
My birthday is coming up on the 20th so I might pick one up then.
