    KX3 Cleaning--How often?

How often do you clean your KX3 muzzle device? It takes no more than 10 seconds to disassemble (after everything has cooled down of course). Thus, it's not really much of a chore to gain access to clean after every session. I haven't installed mine on a rifle yet, so I was wondering as to how quickly does the cavity fill with contaminants? Secondly, how difficult is it to clean? Thanks!

You two are too funny. I guess I'll find out the hard way soon! I do admit, the color variation does add a lot of character; but I take it you've been shooting full auto with it, maybe?

Full auto, primarily on a 9.5" barrel.

How about in a permanent install for California purposes ( to get a 16" barrel). How is cleaning? Necessary, worth it? Don't bother?

You can still disassemble the cone from the main body on a permanent install. Although I haven't gotten to the point of Stick's, I think that eventually one would need to clean it... eventually, but who knows how long it would take to get there.
