    DNTC - Aggressive, a question.

Received my DNTC-Aggressive from you guys (Rainier) yesterday. A question. Do the 2 flat sides at the near end absolutely have to be perpendicular to the ground, when installed? Because I have tried, as tight as can, and the flat sides are kinda slanted, in relation to the ground. Any suggestion, or it doesn't matter? Thanks.

If you are using a crush washer, the washer will crush until it indexes properly. If you are using a peel washer, you will need to heat up the peel washer and peel off layers with an exacto knife to get proper index.

It needs to be installed properly for proper function.

Each layer of a peel washer should equate to 10 degrees of rotation.

Don't forget that in most cases a crush washer is also a "one time" use item. Proper indexing may not be obtained when using a different muzzle device than the one originally used.

Sounds like you over cranked it. To properly index with a crush washer you simply thread the muzzle device on until it contacts the crush washer and then crank it until it indexes - stop there.
