VLTOR E-MOD Enhanced Mod Stock

Im in the process of 2 builds and wanted to keep them both identical, i was going to retrofit them both with Magpul UBR's but after cruising around i spotted the Vltor-E-Mod stock and to be honest i've had my eye on it for a while, now the questions that i have is should i split up the builds by buying a UBR for and a Vltor for the other or just wait and buy 2 UBRS instead? Anybody who's dealt with both id greatly appreciate any info you can give such as comfort of both, reliability, and other things i may have forgot to mention btw looks do matter

The problem is that they are both great stocks. If there is anyway you can get ahold of them to play around with, you might find that its a personal matter of likes and dislikes based on how they feel to you.

Its hard to go wrong with something from either one. Magpul and VLTOR are both good companies with excellent products As Stick said, with something like this a lot of it just comes down to personal preference.

hmmm i see and that's where my problem is they're both great stocks and i can't really decide personally im leaning for 1 rifle with the Vltor, the other with the UBR and unless i get some objections about the Vltor, the only thing that i wanna know is for those of you who have had the privilege of using both what was their comfort level?

They are both fantastic stocks as has already been mentioned. They are both
as comfortable as any stock can be. However, for someone ( me ) that shoots
NTCH, the UBR is the clear choice. I am 6'2" with ape'ish length arms. For a
comfortable length of pull on a collapsible stock my cheek lands squarely on the
buffer tube with anything other than the UBR. I have been looking forward to
the UBR since its announcement and now that I have one, I couldn't be happier.

In a nutshell, consider all aspects of a stock design before making your choice.

I have a carbine with each stock's earlier iteration, one with the Vltor Mod Stock and one with an M93B. The principles behind those are the same as the E-Mod and the UBR. Between the ModStock and the M93B, the M93B wins for me because I need a long LOP as well and the cheekweld is better. But like everyone has stated, it's a subjective personal thing.

I have the enhanced modstock on my carbine and I like it. I see no reason to change. LOP is good, nice bumper and pad, it is well made and fits my mil-spec tube very tightly,(no rattles!).
