My Surfer kid on my other Ducati sporting the broken wristy. My backyard shooting range is not just for bullets :D

Two off camera left and right of the bike through softboxes. Had one on camera in a blackened Stofen diffuser to trigger the High Speed sync on the other two flashes. Cheap way to do it.

Thanks, it's a fun bike to ride, more than I though it'd be.

Nothing crazy or terribly expensive. Just a couple of speed lights and cheapy ebay softboxes.

Here's a couple of light setup shots. Speedlights just weren't quite powerful enough to use them further away. Lightroom 5 has been my bestest of friends....

I've started shooting with a Canon 7D and my 70-200 f/2.8. It works wonders for sports. I've been experimenting with shutter speeds and ISO levels, and I think I found a happy medium last week. My next experiments are going to be with AF points (I have shot with manually set center spot thus far and it's cost me some good shots), as well as exposure meter modes.
