Are you going to throw an optic on it, or leave it with irons?

I was going to do a mini-RDS at first, but recently after shooting it a few times I have changed my mind. I don't have alot of skill with iron sight so I'm going to use this gun to work on that. I plan on doing the Trijicon Front and Rear night sights which are about 280 for the set.
If I were going to run an RDS I would buy the Forward rail that replaces the gas tube so that I can co-witness a mini-RDS, possibly a micro-T1. I will probably do that in about a year or so after I get the irons down.
Do you have any suggestions?
what do you think about that Promag stick?
