Well the man himself, welcome. Note that when the 8.2 was in my possession at was at the generosity of MDWS, I did not push any loads because quite simply it was not my upper to do so with. If any mistake on my part would have happened (yes they can happen)I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself. I stayed in safe zones with my loads, but 2400fps would definitely have been attainable. I expect the 10.5 " to give a nice boost.

I think you'll have no issues getting close to 2600 with the GD and right powder combo from the 10.5" barrel

Well I been piecing this thing for a while so she was pretty much sitting ready for the barrel. After getting to use the 8.2'' upper for a few weeks the lower was battle tested so to speak and already had some baseline loads ready.

Quick range test today before the afternoon bowhunt. Thrilled, numbers are on track and was shocked at a 100yd group I was able to pull off after a sight in at 50yds. This is a new virgin barrel btw. For a 10.5'' I really wasn't expecting it this tight. Rounds tested were as follows.
90gr GD, 22.8gr AA1680, WSR primers
Muzz. Vel.
2478
2476
2483
2498 Confident at 23gr I can bust 2500fps

Testing update. Several rounds im still developing but these two are done for now and happy with the results.
90gr Gold Dot, 23.0gr AA1680, OAL-2.14, Muzzle Vel. Av.- 2568fps
95gr TTSX 22.3gr AA1680, OAL-2.23, Muzzle Vel. Av.- 2539fps
The gold dots could be pushed faster but I like the 100yd expansion at this speed, the last test yielded a quarter size slug and retained 85gr of 90gr.. I fear any faster would fragment. The 95's also gave me .5'' grouping at 100yds.
