    .308 Build

This is a gun I built for a friend of mine. He basically gave me carte blanche on the build. He had a few requests, like a two tone look, a collapsible stock, a crisp single stage trigger, and he wanted it to be capable of good accuracy. Other than that, he gave me his credit card number and told me to order the parts I thought would accomplish the end result within his budget. He picked up the scope & mount on his own, as well as the bipod. Specs as follows:

Cross Machine Tool UHP10 Lower Receiver
    DPMS LPK, minus FCG
    Magpul MOE Grip
Timney 3 lb. Single Stage drop in trigger
DPMS .308 buffer tube, spring, and buffer
    Magpul MOE Stock
Cross Machine Tool UPUR10 Upper Receiver
Cross Machine Tool .308 BCG, headspaced by CMT
Rainier Arms Select Series 20" polygonal rifled barrel
    JP Enterprises Tactical Compensator
Midwest Industries MI-308SS15-DH free float handguard w/panel kit
Leupold 6x18 Scope and Leupold mount
Harris Bipod BRM-S and LT706 QD Swivel Mount Combo

I tried to talk him into a Magpul PRS, but he didn't want to spend the money... Regardless, he's very happy with it and is taking it to Alaska in January to shoot a caribou with it.

My buddy has done some shooting with it out to 200 yards and has been getting sub MOA groups with handloads. Not super dialed in yet, but he's happy considering the limited shooting he's been able to do with it so far.
