That is actually my favorite SBR lol.
I'm not sure what exactly Colt did, but that entire side of the mag well has those marks. My best guess is there was in imperfection in the forging that they were trying to clean up to keep that batch of lowers useable. I've seen photos of other Colt 6933s with the same machining marks, always on the left mag well. They don't bother me in the least, but they do leave me wondering WTF exactly Colt was thinking."It's time to start slapping people." - George Carlin

One more
The Trim rail and Noveske upper mate up like a dream. The 18.5" spiral fluted beauty looks even better in person. I have been researching this high end hard use SPR/DMR rifle for over a year now and all the parts are coming together. Yeah he really did me a solid by selling me that barrel. They have since become unobtanium.
