    MAIL CALL

Thanks! When they release the enlightened upper, I'll start working on it.

The Xanthos rail should be available next month. And 2a says they will be supporting every part of these builds, including a 308 pencil barrel. Hopefully I'll get it done before hunting season.

An unexpected build prompted an ordering frenzy. All came in yesterday with the exception of my muzzle device.

I'm looking forward to testing it and will post some thoughts when I have some.

In other news, my WEVO patch arrived today too.

Got this guy for another bolt action build I have in the works. Surprisingly heavy for its size.

Nice. I want to try out one of those Geissele springs as well.

Something tells me as awesome as Geissele is, this will be a negligible upgrade for me.

Just got back from playing with it... it was not earth shaking, but there was an improvement in the TWANG. Enough that I'll keep it on my 5.56 SBR since it has a LAW folder on it and I cannot use a silent capture spring.

For what they cost, i doubt i'd replace the springs in all my rifles with them ever. It would be nice to reduce the spring noise on my suppressed 300BLK gun without having to invest in a captured spring though.

Did you play with suppressed at all? Or is the reduction in twang just enough that bark of a 5.56 SBR drowns out the rest?

Take a look at the instructions. It makes mention that the spring may be too strong to run 300BLK subsonic.

Dude... I'm so addicted to stamps nothing is unsuppressed anymore!
Seriously tho, suppressed. And it did help. I plan on going back to the range this week and I'll take the original spring setup with me to test 'side by side'

I saw those directions too... see my note above, I'll takemy 300BLK SBR and test my subs with it too. I can't promise I'll make the range, as the fish are running and the wife is nagging, but I may be able to squeak it in.
