Hello all. Back from the dead. Not exactly a mail call, but finally picked up one of these.

Happy Birthday, apparently. You still have time for a trust!

    Thanks haha.

I would have time for a trust ... but nothing to put in it. Do you think it'd still be worth it? If I remember correctly (memory's a little hazy) - I don't think I'd be at any advantage getting a trust now, vs after the deadline since anything I'd add to the trust (which would be far after the deadline) I'd have to get fingerprints/ID for.

I realize it's hard to think about estate planning when you're barely 20, but there are lots of benefits.

A NFA trust could still benefit you, as UW mentioned. A well-made NFA trust would make life even easier. A trust is basically boilerplate, so if you know of a reputable law firm to generate one for you, you still have until 7/12 to submit any F1/F4 paperwork. If you're just having yourself on the trust, then it's probably not as critical, as you'd only need some fingerprints from you and a few extra forms. But still...fer 'mericuh.

And here's the only blemish I can find.

I don't have pics but I got one hell of a mail call today.

    16lbs of CFE223 powder
    4000 Hornaday 75gr match bullets
    2lbs of titegroup pistol powder
    5000 CCI small rifle primers
    5000 CCI small pistol primers
    1x Arisaka Defense Series 300 light with a 45 degree M-lok mount.

Damn it feels sort of like Christmas. :)

My Griffin BCG shipped too, but it's not here yet.

Oh for sure. I definitely will get a trust ... but (unless I missed something) I see no benefit as to create one now, vs post deadline since I have nothing to get started on.

    21 thank you very much

That's the thing - I have no F1 or F4 paperwork to get rolling on (at least not before the deadline). For now the trust will be for me. But I'm sure when I get older, wife and kids & close friends, that will probably all change. I will probably get a trust from Coyote Rifleworks as I've heard good things from folks here and Stick.

MK8 was $137.50 shipped. Got a 13" MK2 for $113.50 shipped the next day, but it hasn't arrived yet.

I've got one in transit. Want to see it in person before deciding if it will work for me. Your pics look better than RA's. What brand lowers of yours does it pair well with?

My engraved SSA arrived today. My avatar...

    ^^^VERY cool.

Interesting that we're kinda running a parallel. I'm putting mine on an RA lower I'm ALSO getting custom engraved artwork put on.

Only free lower I have in hand at the moment is an Aero, the left side mag well "rise", or whatever you want to call it, sticks up above the upper when mounted, which I had expected it would. I'm going to be using it with one of Duffy's ABC/R and a Redi-catch which I actually think will accent the "rise" into a cool visual stair-step. That's the hope anyways.
