Interesting that we're kinda running a parallel. I'm putting mine on an RA lower I'm ALSO getting custom engraved artwork put on.

Only free lower I have in hand at the moment is an Aero, the left side mag well "rise", or whatever you want to call it, sticks up above the upper when mounted, which I had expected it would. I'm going to be using it with one of Duffy's ABC/R and a Redi-catch which I actually think will accent the "rise" into a cool visual stair-step. That's the hope anyways.

I like it a lot. The machining is impeccable as is the finish. The increased barrel mounting surface, where the end of the nut interfaces against the upper is obvious in its diameter and circumference increase. The interference fit is also very much present. I put my barrel into it and it just got tighter and tighter. I stopped before even getting the barrel extension totally inserted for fear it might become... prematurely installed.

That sounds super awesome and look forward to the build thread. My lower is out for deep laser engraving as we speak and I'm hoping to get it picked up sometime next week. Mine will be rocking some WEVO love, and may have hints of a Rainier or WEVO theme depending. Once I get a build thread rolling I'll be soliciting opinions on a few of the parts I'm mulling over.

2lbs of titegroup pistol powder
5000 CCI small rifle primers
5000 CCI small pistol primers
1x Arisaka Defense Series 300 light with a 45 degree M-lok mount.

Damn it feels sort of like Christmas. :)

My Griffin BCG shipped too, but it's not here yet.

And since I've been slacking..here's a few older items that were handed to me, and a few items I picked up in the last week..had some money on my PP that I forgot about for a month or two..lol so BA barrel, seekins tube, Odin GB picked up in the last week thru sales for 135 bux..so just about have parts for my first build in a while, although just an upper excited to get it together and se how it shoots

Mine arrived today too. The receipt surprised me, as I didn't expect a political statement.

Yet my BCG seemed a little worn in spots. I chalk it up to being a great deal which means it won't have a perfect finish.

This also arrived today: the Orion looks made for the BAD ensemble I'm putting together. Now I need a short Night rail to finish it up!
