RRS makes amazing gear. Expensive, but super tough, built for a lifetime of use. I've had some of their ballheads and other parts for my cameras for many years with no complaints. Their new hog-saddle style rest is also super nice. I wouldn't mind a set of their legs, but I don't shoot with a tripod enough to justify it.

Looks like top quality and in that case I certainly subscribe to the "buy once, cry once" mentality. I can say I am more than pleased with the Hog Saddle. Locked down rock solid and never once slipped even on a 15lb. .338 Lapua.

Maybe Arisaka needs to expand into the adapter plates game. Lol

Oh don't worry I'm not bashing the hog. The hog saddle is combat proven and still issued to our Marines. I'd be happy with one, for certain.

GF picked up some cheepy cheep ammo for tp and general effing off purposes. Peel washer set for 5/8x24 and a Aimpoint lower 1/3rd mount. Got tired of waiting on the KAC, so I'm sure it'll be back in stock soon.

Well, it seems that after a two week nap, my USPS item will be arriving today. My irritation still overrides my relief, and at the very least, the P.O. should refund UW's 3 Day Priority mail fee for this blunder.

So I thought USPS got me again. I mailed a package to Pyzik on 6/20 2 day priority. Allegedly it was supposed to arrive on 6/23, then nothing. It was MIA for 3 days and suddenly updates that it's out for delivery today.

WTF... no wonder USPS loses billions.

And yet I have a package coming from RA that was sent out on Friday and arrived today. It's always one extreme or the other.

So Joelski got my package a few weeks ago after it was missing for several weeks. After a week I initiated with USPS a search for the package. Suddenly it shows up after another week. I then check my email today and got an update for the search status for said package
