I vote 19. Is the 43 not in consideration?

I feel if I got her the 43 I would want to carry it. And I ain't carrying a blue gun.

It's still up in the air. 43 is an option, but I'm not sure how much of one.

Of all my handguns the one she likes to shoot the most is the beretta, which is the biggest, bulkiest damn one I've got.

Just get something you also want cause she's probably gonna change her mind.

I've dumped well over $1k into getting my wife set up, (Shield9, full serrations, refinish in NiB, extra mags, several holsters, training...) and only six months later she's thinking she wants a G19 now... Sigh.

Kyle, Christina loves her shield. Her nor I have personally held the 43 but I can say the Shield carries very well and the wife wears it pretty much all the time, either IWB, OWB or in a belly band when she wears a dress or dress pants that don't have a belt. But the thing is you gotta take her to the store and let her hold them and look at them. Let her pick if it is truly going to be for her.

Me personally probably just stuff to finish the kids rifle. Just need a rail, gas block, gas tube, and vortex 2.5x10 optic. Also want to build a 9mm AR-Pistol eventually.

I'd guess the barrel nut change on the new gen 3's. They have a LW gen 3 too...

That's what I looked at its 10.3 oz. The previous version is 9.3 oz.
