My daily driver: 2012 535i GT xDrive. I really wish i'd gone for the 550. Even with the twin-scroll turbo, the turbo lag sucks. I feel like i'm flying a 727 when i drive it. It'll get up and move, but you need to add power before you need it lol. Not the greatest photo, as i was trying to crop out the neighbor's non-Bavarian cars."It's time to start slapping people." - George Carlin

This reminds of voodooman's favorite "reviews" from people who have never touched the product.
Current E70 had for 5 years. First 4 years, BMW paid for all the maintenance. I usually get 1 oil change a year at $85 for Full synthetic. It just needed new brakes, so with $240 worth of parts, I did them myself.
Parents have an 8 year old E70, same deal for the last 4 years. Last 4, all they've needed are yearly oil changes, Cabin Filters at $25 (5 bolts and you swap it out yourself) 2 headlight bulbs at $8 a piece, and 4 Brakes/Rotors at $350.

Yearly oil changes? How many miles is that between changes? Serious Question...

The Bavarian Motor Works Thread
Heh. While you guys are talking about your once a year oil changes I'm sitting over here laughing about how last year the longest I went between oil changes was 6 weeks and shortest was 10 days. There's a reason I've been prevented from getting my FFL thus far.
