If you go to the Arcteryx LEAF site http://leaf.arcteryx.com/Home.aspx?language=EN
Then scroll to the bottom where it says PRO DEAL, it redirects you to:
http://pro.arcteryx.com/
No mention of MIL or LE, because like you said, it takes you to the standard PRO Purchase program.

Here's the LEAF sign-up: http://leaf.arcteryx.com/How-To-Apply.aspx?language=EN; that link could be found in the sign-in section, to the right of where you clicked the Pro Purchase link on the LEAF site.
I believe the "pro purchase" is their civilian program, while "LEAF account" is their military/LE program (I would say government program, but the NPS falls under the standard pro purchase).
Still, the prices are quite high even with a LEAF account. I was able to source my LEAF gear cheaper than what a LEAF account was able to offer during the various sales on LEAF gear a couple months ago; they were the same discount as LEAF, but without the sales tax or shipping fees that the LEAF account would have required.Last edited by Default.mp3; 7 October 2016 at 11:43.

Check out the Forum Industries softshell. I have seen how the jacket is made and fabric technology in it. It's money. Also are you looking for water proof or water resistant?

I've destroyed more Sitka and other overpriced gear than I'd care to admit. Been wearing KUIU since I tried it. Best line of outdoor clothing I've worn.

I like that Kuiu Yukon . I've been doing way more research and stumbled onto this thread on SH http://forum.snipershide.info/showthread.php?t=236644 and it was great info but several years old & wished it was still going to keep up with all the new technologies . Unfortunately it has made me start eyeballing the Wild Things hard shell & rethinking about the Tad Stealth Lt which uses the Schoeller fabric & treatments which is supposed to be way better then Gore/E-vent/ etc . I really wish these were all jackets I could get my hands on & I only have experience with Tad but have been hesitant since Patrick & all the guys I know left .
Sorry to keep beating a dead horse but this isn't a cheap investment .

LEAF is best for a hard outer layer although I wouldn't wear it hunting where I live. We use Carhartt and silicone the hell out of it. It'll shed water and stand up to multiflora rose. That shit's like concertina wire!
There's no "Team" in F**K YOU!
