This came in Friday afternoon, but I was out of town until last night. There fit and finish is typical #Fortis quality - which is excellent. It is a solid piece, and there is no rattles when it is locked up. Hoping to get a build done this week that will include this piece as well.

USPS can gargle my sack. Buncha bag sucking whores. Yet another Govt agency rife with theft and lax service. If you deal with these tards, no matter how good your local office is, they'll route through some shithole that proves the theory. FedEX Air or Ground, period. No Home contractors. That's the only way to get accountability for the stuff you send and have it get there in one piece without an added expense for doing thier f$king job right in the first place! [/Rant]

Meanwhile, Brown was supposed to delivery Thursday. It was out on delivery Friday and went back to the depot at 10pm. They will deliver "next business day" which means after the weekend. A three day shipment will be 12 days.

That's normal for them. I just got a call from my PO and it looks like a burn. I hope some driver gets his ass cooked for theft, but it won't work that way.

FWIW, the majority of your USPS Priority mail goes through FedEx, with a small percentage that goes to UPS. Personally, of the three, USPS tends to have the best speed to cost ratio of the three for that sized package.
I'm pretty sure UPS uses bears on tricycles to move their packages.

I prefer FedEx delivered to their store for me to pickup. I've quit using UPS after they tried to charge me $19.00 to ship a VG6 Epsilon ground to Salt Lake City, USPS charged me $4.00.

Glaciers are faster than UPS ground. Yes, USPS subs cross country stuff to FedEx, but getting to to and from the FedEx hub is where the damage seems to occur. I've shipped a lot of stuff and the biggest thing I've learned is that the safest way to ship with any carrier is disassembled and packed tight into the smallest boxes possible.

UPS is the best of the sack garglers around here. FedEx is OK but often they create issues for no reason. Like when they decided a few barrels in a old rifle box required a FFL to receive it. USPS is just USPS. 50/50 chance the disgruntled carrier will throw it in a dumpster or deliver it.

I'm really pleased with the new ZT0460 - it definitely takes the top spot for EDC knife. The Persian blade shape is effective for a variety of duties, and that red carbon fiber scale makes it nice and light, plus it looks great, IMHO.
