How long will a .22LR suppressor last on a .223/5.56 AR-15?

A long time on this one
Looking at the OP video, I assume the heat build up (on top of the pressure) was really what led it to fail when it did; should only 3-4 shots be taken in a slow succession, you could probably use that can as a last resort if you had to, without permanent damage to it

The Optimus Micro is SS, the cans in the original video are aluminum. This wasn't a video of the "best 22lr" can, more or less how long does aluminum last with a centerfire 5.56 round, which is obviously not long.

The Sparrow is Stainless Steel. But comparing a 5.56 can to a rimfire can isn’t even close to realistic.

All kidding around aside it's good information presented in the original video. To know exactly what you are getting, and exactly how much it can take, what kind of abuse, and more importantly the differences of design matters. Even among those cans represented in the original video you see a wide variation in design characteristics.
