I've shot target and steel at 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, & 300 yards with excellent accuracy and consistent results using a battle field zero. I'm a bit anal when reloading so be sure your cases are properly prepared, the bullets are quality grade, the powder charge is consistent within a tenth of a grain. The only other powder I use is BLC-2 for 5.56 (.223) with a velocity of 2778 Fps, this is also a chronographed load. CFE223 is my go to powder for .223, BLC-2 is my backup powder for .223.
Welcome! Even if this is an old thread, reloading data never goes out of style. Now that we are entering into "the long gray" in my part of the world, I expect to be spending more time at the reloading bench. I personally haven't found my sweet spots with CFE223 but I still have a few pounds so perhaps I'll give your recipe a try and see what happens. H335 is my go to for plinking rounds.
