Prior active duty USMC 0311, current active duty USAF officer, in between mil service was a security consultant and contractor on and off while getting my degree. Will very likely be submitting a "blue to green" package to try and become an Army ordnance officer

You might be surprised to find out how many guys from other services have made the move to the AF...primarily to Combat Control and Pararescue in my experience. I remember one case in the late 90s where I was given 3 new guys on my team, just out of the Combat Control training pipeline, to get up to speed on unit and team SOPs...1 x prior-Navy SDV driver, 1 x prior-Force Recon Marine and 1 x prior-Navy EOD.

New to the forum.
Former US Navy LE/ATFP (Master-At-Arms - We don't really have a designated role anymore, other than "Hey, carry that weapon with minimal training and try to look tough")
In the process of becoming LE.
ETA:
Combat Control is the only thing I'd consider switching over for.

I didn't and still dont want to turn this thread into a AF thread but I'll atleast clarify that I did not mean the relativly small percentage of AFSOC personell, when I was talking about a different universe between the USMC and the AF.
