On-duty I carry the MOD Mark 2, which is smaller than the one above and perfect for urban LEO duties here in Philly,PA. Off duty or on a backpacking trip I carry my custom......

I've been carrying the CRKT for a few years as a duty knife, but its not one I really recommend. The blade is not the highest quality, so it dulls down pretty quick. The bright point is that it does take an edge easily.

No pics.
I have a Buck Tarani with the black handles and a blue/black blade. The grips were a little sharp when I got mine and I've abused it. But it still works.

Although a little too small for my taste as a self defense weapon; its quickly become my favorite for EDC; The Kershaw Scalion. Its low profile and size allow me to always have it no matter the occasion. Linked to pic from Rainer.

I have been carrying a Strider GB since 2005. I second the concept of the knife as a "Tool" not simply a weapon. The strength of the blade has come in handy quite a few times busting open simple locks, ammo crates, cabinets. I carry it everywhere..regardless of what uniform. What I mean is "yes...its a big knife, but I still carry it comfortably on and off duty." I choose the strider for the durablity, I know it should take more than I ever need to dish out. So far it has...

I have a diverse collection, but my old school Spyderco's would be my go to knifes.

I just picked up a Kershaw Leek 1660ST and I think I might try carrying this one around.
