300 blackout supersonic loads
The other thread sparked my interest, and am on the verge of loading up my first BO rounds, so thought it would be cool to see other peoples setup/loads, and a thread to share recipes and tips/hints..
Info such as...
-Barrel length
-powder
-bullet info, whos/grains
-OAL, etc..
...chrono numbers are another plus.
**Yes i'll say it I or anyone should not take anyone others load advice without working up their own load****...Im aware but just saying before someone does...

ok, I'll play!
I do 90% sub shooting, which is pretty much the whole reason I built the BO rifle, but I do have a super load. it is...
M80 149g pulls (and Hornady 150g FMJ uses the same)
16.2g H110
COAL 2.180"
out of my 8" Aero Precision barreled SBR give me roughly 1750fps (I don't have my logbook in front of me)
I do have a couple hundred of the Barnes 110Tac-TX bullets I have yet to load, but I'm having so much fun suppressed I have no idea when I'll get around to loading them. I am thinking of taking the SBR Caribou hunting this fall so I'll most likely work up a super load for the Lehigh Defense 145g Chaos bullet.-----------------------------------------------

Thanx Jim
Kinda excited to play with a new round, i enjoy making boolits...
All ive got for powder is IMR 4227, only thing that i have been able to find locally, still on the hunt for some H110..Seems like the ticket for 110-150gr BO stuff.

and LilGun for 150+ I hear, altho I have yet to see a pound of that. I did not have success with IMR4227 and the 190g for subs, my next test will be with 220's - maybe it needs heavier to work.
And I hear you on the fun... I have the stuff to reload .223, .308, .338, .9mm, 40S&W and .45 but all I seem to ever reload is 300BLK. Seems I shoot that more than anything now, by a LONG shot. Altho I have plans on trying a .308 subsonic load-----------------------------------------------

Pretty much a tweaked Nosler recipe. Crono was done on a 16" Daniel Defense barrel with a Adams piston kit on it.
125 Gr. Accubond
17 grs. W296
2.120 OAL
2080-2090 FPS

Sub MOA groups with hand cooked loads. MOA with factory.

As an alternative/option to lil'gun check out Alliant 300-MP. It is comparable in performance. I've got a 357 mag load that pushes 180gr Hornady XTPs at over 1300fps out of a 6" Barrel. A friend of mine uses it for 300 blk and has also had favorable results.

I used bowler data with the 110 grain vamageddon with great results. I am also using 4227.

The 125 gr Accu-bonds are lethal. While I have found they open up prematurely in a .308, they have exhibited almost perfect performance at the B.O. Velocities.

Right on...ya nothing local around here so always have to order the stuff online..and lately be quick about it as it seems the popular BO bullets go fast....Or im just slow..lol..
How are the 125gr SSt's?

The SST's group well but have yet to use any in the field.
Just to clarify I was not running the 125's in a .308. I was speaking about the Accubonds in general and their habit of premature expansion at higher velocities.

My DD rifle likes 110 grain V Max over 19 grains of 4227 with an OACL of 2.040.
